2019 Annual Grass Tournament
Set, Serve, Spike & Score your way to the championship at St. Mary’s College of Maryland Spring Slam! Grab some friends or a couple of old teammates and get in the game for a day of awesome volleyball action.
Games will be played on Sunday, April 28th 2019 in the campus of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and hosted by the Seahawk Volleyball Team. Come and join the Seahawk volleyball team for some volleyball, refreshments and fun!

Logistics or 4v4 SMCM Grass Volleyball Tournament:
- Dates: April 28th 2019, rain or shine!
- Times: Starts at 9:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm, depending on number of teams.
- Location: SMCM campus club fields (across from the tennis courts)
- Point system: 21-point system, 2 matches with no tie breaker.
- Price: $100 per team
- Teams: 4-6 people; requirement of 1 girl on the team + on court
- Net height: Men’s regulation height
- Prizes: 1st place team in each division!
Two Divisions Available
Teams must register for Elite or Recreational divisions when signing up and teams must have at least one female on the roster with a maximum of 6 players. Take note of what ELITE vs. RECREATIONAL means below.
Elite division is designed for experienced players who are there to socialize but play at an intermediate level. Teams are a little more organized (plays, positions, etc). Intermediate skill level.
Recreational division means 50% Social 50% Game. You’re out there to have fun and enjoy casual, low-stress games. Recreational skill level and above are welcome!
