She was the assistant coach for the TCA U17 club team in Downingtown, Pennsylvania for two years, leading the team to a bronze-medal finish in the top division at the East Coast Championships.
As a middle hitter at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Martin led the Golden Rams to a pair of 20-win seasons and graduated as the school’s all-time leader in total blocks (385) and block assists (320). Both of these records still stand and she’s also the record holder in participation, having played in 479 sets during her WCU career.
She graduated from West Chester in 2013 with a B.S. in nutrition and dietetics before completing a master’s in exercise science at McDaniel in 2015.
